After spending so much time travelling across countries and musical styles, the singer Busi Mhlongo has become a hybrid being, an "Urbanzulu" with an incredible voice. And the mixing of genres is no secret to her as she is from South Africa, a country whose melting-pot is so varied that they invented a legal framework to partition it into. With her warm, then high-pitched then shrill voice, Busi sings for reconciliation in a post-apartheid world.
